Our Compostable Courier Bag offers business owners an excellent alternative to standard cardboard or plastic mailers. We use cornstarch and other biodegradable materials to create a sturdy but compostable courier bag.
The eco-friendly packaging alternative has a silky feel with a matte black finish for a high-end look. Our mailers send a message to your customers that you are making an effort to conserve without sacrificing functionality or design. The Compostable Courier bag from Ecotime proves that sustainable packaging alternates can be cost-effective and aesthetically pleasing.
While our Compostable Courier Bag is made from 100% compostable materials, the removable strip from the adhesive is PE plastic to ensure the glue is functional. The strip can be recycled with other standard soft recycling materials.
Our Compostable Courier Bags are fully biodegradable; they are made primarily with corn starch along with PLA and PBAT. The materials are certified by international standards to be both home and commercially compostable but still provide contents with reliable protection. Certification

Consumers Value Sustainability Frequent reminders of the current climate emergency are directly driving consumer purchasing decisions. New Zealand’s Sustainable Business Council found that 87% of residents are concerned about sustainability, and over a third of consumers would pay 25% more for a sustainable product. Whether your brand is making a significant impact on the environment or not, the consumer has spoken. New Zealanders want to support brands that are making a conscious effort to reduce waste. Shipping products is a significant contributor to global warming. Utilizing biodegradable materials reduces the environmental impact of eCommerce and shows consumers your company is limiting your carbon footprint. Utilizing compostable materials means that if your mailer ends up in a landfill, it will decompose and not put a burden on the environment. The courier bag will completely degrade in chemical fertilizer heap in approximately 90-120 days.
